TROY is pleased to announce students who have been named to the Provost's List for the Fall Semester and Term 2 of the 2017/2018 academic year. Full-time undergraduate students who are registered for at least 12 semester hours and who have a grade point average of at least 3.65 qualify for the Provost's List. The Fall Semester includes students at the Troy, Ala., campus. Term 2 includes students at TROY's campuses in Dothan, Phenix City and Montgomery, Ala., along with locations outside of Alabama and online.

A total of 417 students enrolled during the 2017 summer semester at The University of Alabama were named to the Dean's List with an academic record of 3.5 (or above) or the President's List with an academic record of 4.0 (all A's). The UA Dean's and President's lists recognize full-time undergraduate students. The lists do not apply to graduate students or undergraduate students who take less than a full course load.

Bucknell University has released the dean's list for outstanding academic achievement during the spring semester of the 2016-17 academic year. A student must earn a grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0 to receive dean's list recognition.

Eastern Mennonite University is pleased to recognize 254 students who were named to the Spring 2017 Dean's List. The Dean's List, compiled at the end of each term, includes degree-seeking students who achieve a semester GPA of at least 3.75 with no withdrawn, incomplete, or failing grades for 12 semester hours of standard grades.

Simpson University recognized 53 students with the Scholar-Athlete Award. To qualify as a scholar-athlete, a student must be nominated by an institution's head coach and maintain a minimum grade-point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale.

James Madison University is pleased to announce that the following students made the dean's list for the fall 2016 semester.

Sixty-three McMurry students traveled to Ft. Worth to see the Monet at the Kimbell Art Museum and the Kaws at the Modern Museum, the Chinese Warriors Excavation at the Omni Max Science Museum, and American art and at the Amon Carter Museum. The trip was sponsored by the McMurry Art Department and the McMurry Honors Program.

McMurry art students hosted an art display at their studios from 3 to 5 p.m. Friday, September 16, in Ryan Fine Arts Center and the Chapin Art Building.
